Dan has developed the scheme of work based on his experience as a teacher and his 5 years at British Orienteering as a development manager.

The Primary SOW contains 20 progressive sessions typically aimed at KS2 but with differentiation to include KS1 students.

 

The Secondary SOW is aimed primarily at KS3 but with progression for KS4. Also included is a grid referenced map for use in Geography and D of E.

 

All the sessions are a mixture of skills and competition based activities.

 

The scheme of work is tied to the markers we provide and is adapted to each individual school. The maker code answers are included with each session along with a bespoke map.

 

Out of the 25 markers in the school grounds, not all are shown to the students at once depending on the session which adds flexibility and maximises the school site.
